I did some quick tests starting the playback and then putting / removing plugins in groups of 5 or 6, until the native plugins run out. No errors, no freeze, no booby e no terminal messages. Like Phyllis said, just a freeze when I used UNDO. Even the playback slowing down seem to me to have improved a lot. I'd say you did a wonderful work. Thank you very much. |

Andrew reported these 2 problems for which a fix has been generated: for the freeze when playing with audio and drag contrast/brightness plugin onto timeline + freezing by deleting YUV plugin from track while playing. They could have been more freezes too with other plugins but hopefully all are fixed. Unfortunately, the UNDO (I think only while playing) is not working all the way yet. So please refrain from doing that or cin will hang. Even though it is not exactly the same issue, leaving this open to include the contrast/brightness problem reported by Andrea and Andrew. They result from the same attempt to prevent deadlocks. |

Thanks GG/Phyllis. I agree with you and confirm. Okay for the native issue, with or without Proxy, but a new issue I found. I report here. If you want to close and reopen with a new one it’s okay for me (please, consider that no email is sent to my email when an user creates a new issue or some notes are added until I go in MantisBT and click on "Monitor" button). New issue: Clicking on the white bar of the Inter-View the Viewer freeze Steps: 0) In Timeline, one video track with three clips (but I know you can see by dump) 1) Make sure you are in Preview mode in the Resources window (Play icon enable) 2) Resources-> Proxy (or Media if not Proxy) MMB on thumbnail (Vicon) and LMB on white bar of the Inter-View 3) The Viewer shows the clip with InPoint and OutPoint setted but the Viewer window is freezed. 4) File--> Quit doesn’t works (it freezes all the Cinelerra’s windows), I have to use Ctrl+C in terminal to close all. And the “BOOBY!” is came out. I added compressed file with Dump and Terminal messages. Let me know if you need a screencast please.
