Cinelerra-GG logo usage guidelines

The role models for these guidelines are the “Blender 3d Foundation”, “Arch Linux”, “Debian” or other open source organizations. These organizations have established guidelines to prevent misuse of their own logo, and we follow these practices. The Cinelerra-GG Logo is made by the artist „Sam C.“ aka „iz Red“. The revised Cinelerra-Logo itself is property of the artist “Sam C.“ aka „iz Red”. He provides the logo for the Cinelerra-GG software and Cinelerra-gg.org organization. The logo is not part of the GNU GPL, and can only be used commercially by Cinelerra-gg.org organization on websites, publications and products.

Third parties may also use the Cinelerra-GG logo under the following conditions:

1. The logo may be used as a reference or information about the Cinelerra-GG products. When using the logo on a website, a link should refer to cinelerra-gg.org.
2. If you advertise your own brand, product or service, present it in a way that is unmistakable from the Cinelerra-GG logo. In this case, the Cinelerra GG logo may only be used as a secondary trademark, i.e. the average viewer must be aware that it is not an official Cinelerra GG website, publication or product.
3. You may use the Cinelerra logo on advertising products such as mugs or T-shirts or events, provided it is a second trademark as defined in point 2.
4. The Cinelerra GG logo shall be used unchanged, in its original colours, with its own typography and always in its entirety, without altering it.
