So alone that's a weak argument that can't persuade me to buy. I suppose the camera won't be open hardware to print yourself?
If I understand you correctly, do you assume that by summer 2020 the CinemaDNG format will be released and supported for free under GNU/Linux?

As far as I know, there's only Apertus open hardware:
https://www.apertus.org/axiom-beta
It seems to me that in Octpus camera open there is only Linux. The rest is hardware Intel, Sony, Ximea and Apple formats. Your question about the DNG intrigues me too.
In the forums they also talk about prices suitable for the High End world.
