A curious mention to CinGG for its ability to support the OpenEXR format. It contains a script to create a list of OpenEXR images compatible with CinGG.

They did a really good job of exactly how to use the EXR sequences in CinGG. Being able to download the zip file to see the detail sure would be helpful to those not familiar with this.
