For FreeBSD, there is a tarball build available at the Link:

https://cinelerra-gg.org/download/testing/bsdcin.tar.xz 

To use this build on FreeBSD 12.1 version, after downloading, unpack the tarball:

cd /your_chosen_path

mkdir cin

cd cin

tar -xJf /src/path/bsdcin.tar.xz

Then to start up Cinelerra, just type in the following from a window in that directory path:

./cin
