– A fix for problems with the alpha channel is in the latest AppImage release. It fixes the issue when using a nested or reference EDL. In addition the fix has solved some problems of displaying images with transparencies in the Compositor and Viewer.
– There is a new script for 10 to 30 times speedup in creating a proxy for a large video if you have vaapi type hardware acceleration. For users doing their own builds the script is now in the doc subdirectory and usage is documented in the manual. Or you can download the script, vaapi_proxy.sh, from CinGG’s GIT repository.
